Reflective Dialogue
The reflective dialogue with the teacher is unstructured and led by the teacher’s commentary on the section of the lesson, with the researcher probing for further reflection on points of particular interest concerning the planned and ad hoc orchestration of features in relation to pupil attributes, on the intended and actual learning, and on the role of ICT (if appropriate) and other resources. Where possible, the pupils initially interviewed are also involved in a post-lesson interview, separately from the teacher.
